Locke, Arthur Ware, 1883-

Locke was educated at Harvard University (A.B., 1905; A.M., 1915). He taught at Brown University, Washburn College, Topeka, Kansas and the University of Wisconsin before coming to the Smith College Music Dept. in 1915.
